The statement of purpose requirements are posted here. Applicants should be sure to submit the appropriate statement. Special instructions apply to applicants to the Master of Public Health and Master of Science in Health Care Management.

Special Note to Applicants with a Bachelor's Degree Only (or non-US equivalent): The Departments of Biostatistics and Epidemiology will review applicants holding a bachelor's degree only for the master of science 80 credit (SM2) or the doctoral program (PhD or SD, respectively). The Departments of Environmental Health; Global Health and Population; Health Policy and Management; Nutrition; and Society, Human Development, and Health may consider applicants with a bachelor's degree only, however, most successful candidates have some relevant work experience. The MPH requires a prior graduate degree or enrollment as an MD(DO)/MPH or JD/MPH (with Harvard Law School only).
